Well, it looks like Game Freak has listened: Pokemon Gold and Silver are getting remade for the DS, possibly getting a release in Japan on the 10th anniversary of the original Game Boy Color versions. The remakes are called HeartGold and SoulSilver.
It's about time too, considering that Game Freak needed to address the lack of Game Boy Advance slot in the DSi and the fact that some of the Pokemon were still only obtainable through that. What a way to wrap up the fourth generation of Pokemon!

And what a conclusion of my Pokemon adventures, as after I get HG/SS and complete it, that's it for the games. And as for Shadows of Kamon, once that gets finished (which may take a while, mind you), it draws a curtain on my time as a Pokemon fan. I plan to move on to create original works that sort of draw from my original ideas here.
